    Quick day trip

Well, this report isn't about some BIG adventure, but rather a tiny one. A whopping 50-something miles paved and 5-6 miles in the dirt. No trails, no single track, no bragging rights, just a little moto-fun

37F this morning and we rolled out on the now-running T-Dub and KLX (TW left us high and dry for the first time yesterday due to some mischief on our sons' part, funny in hindsight, really frustrating yesterday).

Yep, it is running, seen here after passing the KLX:

Our route today was through three local towns, ultimately ending at a nice overhead railroad bridge. We joined two other riders as well, another KLX and a DR200:

We rode about 30 miles of rural backroads to arrive at this:

And a view from the bridge's center:

Here's the embarrassing part- when we parked we were in the middle of a movie set, seriously. The cameraman was very friendly and directed us to another parking area, but ol' Sweetwater forgot (!!!) to actually get a good picture of the bridge. Duh-huh.

Here's a pro pic from Wiki:

And a shot with the bridge in the background:

The cameraman was kind enough to snap a shot of our group. Lil' T-Dub is hiding behind my KLX (camera shy):

I got a real giggle of the street crossing in town. Apparently you are supposed to borrow a flag and walk across the street. OK, when in Rome and all that...

So, in spite of not getting a bridge pic, we had a nice leisurely ride and the TW200 was flawless, just the way we like it

^^ What he said. Fun is what it's all about.

Hidden Content A ride in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact I'm dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant?

I'm also easily entertained. Ground speeds have decreased quite a bit recently and we ride OHVs with the kids too. If we are outside doing something, we are pretty happy!

It doesn't matte how big or how long the ride is. Any ride trumps staying at home. Fun pics.
Looks like you had at the Red Flag district.

Looks like a good day with good rides and good buddies - what else is needed?
