will keep trying...photo won't post'
all right sort of got it figured out. I emailed it to me which reduced the number of pixels then copied it to the forum. Bought this scooter back in March of this year. in July rode the natchez trace carrying camping gear in the hack. The trace was ideal as the speed limit is 45-50 MPH and the top speed if the scooter with the hack is 40 or so. Wind and grades really slow this down. I trucked this over to White House, TN on a trailer and rode from there to the trace through Nashville. seemed to entertain all the commuters that day. This photo was taken near Summer Town, TN when I spent a day sampling wines at various vineyards. I get about 60 MPG out of the 2 gallon tank. Scooter is powered by a 150cc 2 stroke engine.
Followed a lot of back roads. Both dirt and gravel. Got stuck once at a stream crossing. Those little 10 inch tires cut through the rock and sand in the bottom of the stream. After that I realized this is no adventure ready bike.
Auto Archeology. Found the ruins of this old Ford truck at the edge of the road. Early fifties I think. The scooter is a Stella (Italian for Star). It has a 4 speed manual transmission. The sidecar was designed in the '20's by Steib of Germany. It was made to resemble an airship...the future of travel back then. I covered about 500 miles this trip. Perfect weather. No rain. Friendly drivers.
When I got back home I was amaized at the power of my TW200. 16 HP and the Stella sports 8.

A most excellent adventure!
Only a fool would attempt it, and God help me, I am that fool!
This is Nashville? Must have read the map wrong. Parthenon from the 1897 Centennial Exposition.
Bow decoration from the USS Tennessee commissioned 1906. Driven ashore by a tsunami in 1916 for scrap in 1922. The bronze decoration now resides on a concrete bow in Centennial Park.
I was just down your way over Labor day week. my friends live in Green county. One friend has 2 tdubs so I used one when we went riding. lots of nice little roads in that area. Steib has made big sidecars for a long time. Lots of folks I know with BMW use them
