That's some beautiful desert, very different flavor than what I'm used to here in the Sonoran.
Riding in sand is definitely not one of my favorites either, but at least it's nice and soft to fall into!

As counterintuitive as it sounds, speed and standing are your friend when it comes to sand. You are much more stable at speed. Standing keeps your body weight from being thrown around and keeps you more centered.
