WTB: Left side trim in BLACK with PINK (1990 model). Photo included.

    Hi guys,

My 1990 is all complete except for the left side trim that screws in over the airbox. The original owner lost or destroyed it somehow. If I can't find a stock replacement, I figure it will be easy to paint this panel black, but I don't know where I'd ever get the "electric" pink sticker!

I've attached a photo of the right side trim so you can see the proper decal and color, and then a photo of the white-colored trim I'm trying to replace.

Please let me know if you can help me out, either with a decal or a complete piece of trim! You can PM me here or reach me at: craigoryraino AT gmail.com

    Thanks a million guys!

I appreciate the link! I may go that route eventually, right now I'm trying to put this bike together bone-stock as it was when it rolled off the Yamaha lot. Thanks for the reply!

You could paint that panel black and then have a sticker made that comes close to the original.

Near one is fake, one in background is real.

I think you can easily buy new side covers in either black or white at any on line Yamaha reseller. Any company that makes signs and does vinyl truck advertising decals should be able to take a photo of the cover you have and accurately reproduce a very real decal for you. All of these sign companies have computer generated lettering machines and it should be a very simple process.
