Would you sell or trade one bolt?

Can you tell what's missing. I posted in my thread I trade a paracord lanyard for one.

I actually dont have any of those bolts available. They are holding the rear pegs to the frame still and because they are rusted in there a little im not intending to take them off. I would just get a bolt form your local hardware store( not HD or lowes). Any short M8 will do in standard thread and should cost ~ a buck.

    Parting out an 89 TW

    Ok thanks.
I'm a little OCD, I'll change things and "remodel" but I still have to have the "correct" parts. I rode right to hardware and got a bolt. 37cents.

I believe another member has one for me.
I'm sad that a TW is gone, maybe others will live on.

I'll bump the thread to the top to make up for the off topic thread jack.

Padilen, Find a thread where someone is bragging about their CycleRack install and they should have two of the bolts that you need.

Will you sell the air-filter cover screws?

sorry, those are a part of the airbox assembly and without them it makes the airbox kind of useless. Im not going to break things up like that. especially since you can get those screws for cheap brand new from rocky mtn atv or boats.net.

I'd be interested in seeing a part number from either place, since you say they are cheap, I am assuming you've seen them listed.

you are talking about the screws that hold the cover on for the air filter correct? Check the pic below, part number 15, less than 2 bucks from rocky mountian.... Id bet a hardware store would have a suitable screw as well. My 06 had a couple fall out and i replaced them with just that, got a couple from a local hardware store.

as i said, i don't want to separate the parts of the airbox. its 100% complete as it sits.
