    1989 TW 200 For Sale

First, let me start off with thanking the forum for the info. I have been lurking here for awhile and what a great site for TW info.

I bought this TW from someone who got it cheap under the assumption it needed a new engine. He never attempted to fix it in 3 years so I took a chance on it thinking it would be a great bike for my wife to learn how to ride on. It just needed a tune up and a good carb cleaning. Now it runs great but my wife is not someone who should be on two wheels (I don't have the patience to teach her to not look at trees and the ditch) so I'm putting it up for sale. Here's the info:

Clean Title in hand and is currently tagged. Bike rides great. 67XX miles.

    Maintenance items completed:

    Oil/filter
    spark plug
    chain adjusted and lubed
    valves checked (no adjustment needed)

    Tires have good tread
    Carb has been cleaned.

    Bike is ready to go.

Looking for $1600 obo. I'm a little flexible on the price. Trades plus cash on your side will be considered for smaller dirt bikes (XR/CRF/DRZ/KLX) or 4/3 wheelers.

Sorry, I will only do cash in hand. Not saying your a scammer but I'd rather be safe than sorry for both sides. (I wouldn't be able to not ride it while it's sitting in the garage, in fact, I'm going for a little ride right now!!)

Hi SailorJack: I don't think you understand "wiring funds", It goes immediately into your account.
    That's how I buy Gold/Silver
    Etc.
And if you think I am a scammer, then you haven't really looked into this site very well.

And my offer price has dropped to 1200.

Hahahahah! Wow! Sorry to offend you. I understand how "wiring funds" works and as the seller, I have the right to meet the person interested in the bike I'm selling. I prefer cash with a face to face transaction.

I don't memorize forum names to posts. I guess I was looking more for information than who was posting. To be fair, I never called you a scammer and actually started the sentence with "Not saying your a scammer..."

Thanks for lowering your offer even after I declined your original offer. In fact, I politely said no thanks.

For anyone serious in buying my bike, $1600 obo cash.

BS. BS> If you really had a grasp, money and offer are all that count. Now you are saying you want to have a social meeting. Bull S.... I don't want a face to face with you, it might get ugly.

    Let it go.
I read the ad the site didn't up date with reply's.
    I thought
    No location, posted- happens.
    Good beginning asking price.
Wants to trade for another bike? Caution
Then I went to post where?
    And your post came up.
Now "he" is taking wife's bike for a ride and wouldn't want it sitting in his garage, until pick up. Pass
Nice looking bike. Good offer. Bad dealings.

Thanks Padilen: Just lost my cool for a moment. Certain crap really pisses me off. You are a good voice for moderation.
