    I have these installed on both of my bikes along with the 40% heavier fork springs from ProCycle. They fit with the longer springs with no need for a spacer. Its easy to do and only requires drilling some larger holes in the stock dampening rods. I had bought this set to use on Mrs Trip's bike with the stock springs ... she didn't need heavier springs since she's a lightweight. I would have trimmed the existing spacers accordingly, and then had a tunable set-up with the stock springs. We ended up going in a different direction with her suspension...progressive springs so I'm not going to use these. I think they are about $160 at ProCycle.

    Hey, Grewen...just noticed your post!

    The new set up worked really well. I think I noticed more than she did, as she started to more confidently hit the rocky bits we encountered as time went on. We had a YSS shock custom built. They took a list of information: her weight (110 lbs) the weight of her luggage (50 lbs) riding style: (off-road touring) and the riding height. It was built to the same length as the V-star shock so her ride height remained the same as what she had.
    The front springs were replaced with a set of progressive wound springs that Hyperpro makes for the TW200. That and a change to the fork oil level made a big difference...softened up the initial response without too much squishiness.
    I have the Procycle spring and valve upgrades on my bike which have worked out well... but I'm 200 lbs plus the gear and luggage. Her suspension had been way too stiff for her in anything rocky, bouncing her around...with the predictable loss of control. The emulators come with 3 sets of little adjustment springs, so I had been going to swap those out for the softest set in hopes of compensating for the stock TW springs... but in her case, I think the progressive springs...which I didn't know were available...are a much better solution.
    I should be getting a second set of springs and another shock delivered any day now...those I'll install on her bike here in Rhode Island.

    Received the new suspension components on Thursday. What's in the box?



    HyperPro progressive springs for 87 to 16 TW200

    YSS custom built shock MZ 366-305 TR

    15 weight fork oil

    Sure is pretty.... nice purple color spring...



    includes specific instructions:



    top: stock TW fork spring
    bottom: new progressive spring



    Keep in mind the impetus for this. Mrs Trip is only 5 feet tall. I originally lowered her bike with a V-star shock. We're trying to keep the same lowered height but with an improvement in the ride for her weight.

    I am going to reuse that stock spacer tube. Actually, if you look at the previous picture of the installation specs it is calling for the standard preload bush L= 169MM. I will measure the stock spacer tube to confirm the length. You'll also notice that the fork oil level they are calling for is considerably lower than the consensus with the ProCycle springs. I am assuming they have some basis for their recommendations.
