Sold - Drum to Disc Brake Conversion Parts - Sold

These are parts that you need to convert your drum brake front end to a disc brake front end. I picked up these parts to convert my son's '87, but ended up just replacing the entire front end from a bike that I put a fat front tire onto.

In addition to these parts, you will need a 2001 and up front wheel with brake rotor and a starter switch to complete the swap.

    $150.00 shipped.

    Good catch Fred!

Note: Add brake pads to the list of additional items needed.

    I was just teasing Brian.
That is a very nicely priced complete conversion kit. For $150 shipped any buyer should be happy to supply their own fresh brake pads.

i don't suppose there is a TW part your craving for eh? I'm not allowed to buy more but lateral transfers from my stash seem to acceptable.

It would be an upgrade but with the TW low gearing I don't see the point. I have the 1993 with both drums. The only issue I had was anti-seize those brake cams and pivot points. Before that when it was damp or cold it would kind of grab before the brakes were warmed up.
