    1992 TK Carb for sale

This is the carb in my post https://tw200forum.com/forum/technica...-question.html
that I referred to as problematic. It's off a 1992 TW200 that has 982 miles hence it looks like new.
As for its problems, I'm really not sure. It may be that I never dug into it enough. I did replace the main and pilot jet and adjusted the pilot screw and I also cleaned the bowl and exterior. However I never did disassemble the whole thing and let it sit in carb cleaner overnight. In the end I needed a working bike for an upcoming trip and bought a new carb.
The symptoms with this carb on the bike were: it would start and run OK but then sometimes stutter a little when opening the throttle off idle and then when getting towards the higher revs in, say, 3rd or 4th gear it would again stutter/miss a little. Maybe easily fixable? I don't know. --when I installed the new carb the bike ran great. As you can see it's super clean and on the exterior, shows almost no sighs of wear.
Somebody can probably get this to work. Don't know what to ask on the price; I know what a new one costs because I just bought one but don't know what a used one goes for and haven't looked into it yet. Anybody want to make an offer?

Thanks for the interest and PM's ....but at what it seems I can sell this for I'm just going to keep it. I've already got over the above amounts into it with the purchased oem jets and rebuild kit so it makes way more sense just to keep it.

Smart move! My price was a low ball price for sure. And I already have a spare carb so yours would've been over kill.

I think, to be fair, when you say "Make me an offer", you're leaving yourself wide open to low ball offers. I'm not interested in it, as my carbs are working okay. I'm thinking about the OKO carb from MAT (trials bike stuff). New cost on one is about $125 IIRC. If you are interested in selling it, let us know what you think you would be comfortable selling it for. They cost about $260 new????

I trade you some bubble gum and some old shoes?

Good idea - keep it as long as you have the TW.

....and here is a thread on how to tune a carburetor. Even though you have a jet that has the same number as another jet, or you jet and shimmed the needle exactly the same, they may not run the same. That's why you should go through the steps and look at the symptoms/results explained in this thread.
