    Fred,
If you have room for both the tire and the Happy Trails soft bag in your trailer after packing all those bikes for the trip North back to God's country? I'll meet you at the I-5 North bound Ridgefield rest area and take both off your hands.
Please send a PM to confirm. I would also need to know if I can mount and run this on back using a stock TW rear wheel and if any mods or precautions are required to do so ? I am hoping it will clean mud here on the "wet side" and still work on rocky trails near Omak and Okanagon as well as around Odessa and for regular back road stuff in the Gifford Pincho National Forrest.

Lot's of info huh sorry !

    Thanks, Gene
Or you can call as I left me cell # in a PM I sent you today about all of this.

Hi Gene I'm just getting back to AZ today with my new trailer and I'll be loading up for my first NorthWest run the beginning of February

The ATV tire can be made to "fit" but the biggest risk I see is catching a rock in the tire anhd having it hit the front of the swingarm usually resulting in tread damage

An extended swingarm is the cats meow

I have a design for a weld on mild steel plate (one for each side of the swingarm) that should be less than $50 and will allow for 1", 2" or 3" extension quite easily and you won't even have to remove the swingarm to install them

heres a thread started showing the simple idea made from 1/2" plate so no need to cut and splis the arm you just weld on a new adjuster slot plate

    New - Simple - Sturdy - TW200 - Swingarm - Extension

the thread got redirected with a bolt on extension that will be of no use for my purposes

I'm not sure when I'll have my main pattern done but once I have the design I have have a ton pattern cut for very cheap

the key is we only need between 1" and 3" to clear an ATV tire no more than 3" or we get into to steering angle issues

the weld on tab basically just extends the factory slot and saves al the cutting splicing and aligning issues ie no jig required

I'll have one plate set for standard TW's and another for the XT250 rear disc conversion

btw with this design you could even adjust ride height some what up or down to maintain something similar to the OEM stance

That being the case, I'll go ahead and take the tire and wait for a set of swing arm extenders.

I have over 30 years making my living with a Mig Welder and have a nice Lincoln SP175 220 amp one just waiting out in the shop with a full cylinder of gas.

I am into this idea, I was considering making some jigs for a swing arm stretch service but you are already on it with a better plan !!

Be aware, putting on that buzzsaw will have you riding downhill all the time.

LOL, No Placer, it is a heck of a tire and has lots of traction. Just raises the rear a bit. Don't get your feathers ruffled.
