I have a 2008 tw200, 10,500 miles, 98% on road miles, hand gaurds and rear rack, always stored inside, only known issues are worn chain and rear blinker housing is cracked on bottom, its been a super reliable bike, but I bought a bigger bike and have been waffling back and forth about selling it to pay bills. anyone have any idea what its worth?

TW's hold their value really well. But, like any bike, it depends on the market you live in. Check your local craigslist for other ads to compare to. The lower your price, the further someone would travel to get it.... These are sought after bikes in my area, if one in good condition pops up for under $2000, it is snatched up in a hurry...

Just FYI - I got mine recently in the Seattle area for $2800 for the same model year, but with only 1200 miles on it. I agree that right around $2000 - perhaps a little more - is right (for this market anyhow).

Easily 2000-2500. More towards the 2500 mark rather than 2000.

If you use CL put it up for 2800 or best offer - gives you a good amount of room for negotiation.

on CL anything 2006 and newer listed at $2600 or less brings lots of attention. The only detraction I can think of might me the 10k miles but at $2600 or less I don't think it will matter. (btw 10k miles isn't bad but it freaks out some people who don't know these machines yet)

btw I should add I'm talking about the Washington state and the Phoenix market. Cali prices are a tad softer (maybe 5 to 10%) but TW's still sell well there

I would say $2200. I have seen some minty very low miles ones go for around 2800 and total heaps go for 1000. I wished i would have bought used after i learned how solid of bikes they are. I have a 2008 with right at 6000 miles now. Rode tonight. A bit chilly.

thanks for the replies, i was guessing around 1800 to 2200 so its good to know i wasnt too far off. I think i'm only gonna sell it if I absolutely have too, I'd miss it if I got rid of it.
