Trying to find a store to purchase a 15 tooth front. None of my local shops up in Victoria, BC Canada can order one in.

Any recommendations appreciated,

Thanks,

Matt

That's silly. Your dealer should be able to buy from Parts Unlimited, no? My dealer was, and my front 15T was $19.

Give them this Parts Unlimited part number:

C/S SPROCKET YAM 428 15T

K22-2601C

Or any of these:

I use the Parts Unlimited sprockets. Excellent durability. Find an independent dealer who buys from Parts Unlimited and you're good.

Sprocket Specialists carry a 15 tooth. The new 15 tooth I just had a cycle shop get me came from Parts Unlimited $12.95 on the price tag.

I have been running a 14/44 but I will change to a 15-47 when I change out the chain and sprockets shortly.

Ratios: stock 14/50 3.57

14/44 3.14

15/47 3.13

I'm sorry that Matt, my fellow Canadian has not followed up on his post. I too found the same from my local dealer. They could get 45 or 50 tooth rears from Yamaha or a range of 42-50 tooth for Sunstar. But no 15 tooth front sprockets. I want the 15/50 tooth combo for highway and light trail. I figure the more teeth the longer chain life.

I bought a Sunstar - 428 Powerdrive Countershaft 15 Tooth Sprocket from 2 Wheel Pros for $14.53 plus shipping.

I've decided not to use it. If anyone is interested PayPal $15 to me and I will mail it to you.

SOLD
