Here is a pic of the carburetor off of my 1989 TW. Where the arrow points is an opening which looks as though it should either an air jet or a brass plug. Anyone got one they can check for me? -sorry it's blurry, my hands shake-

I just looked at the old TW carb I have on the shelf.



It looks just like yours... an open passage from the intake to the chamber above the slide.

That's great news. Thanks jbfla!



I had a lean condition after installing a Keyster carb kit. I removed the carb again, replaced the #38 pilot provided with a new #40, replaced the coaster diaphram assembly, and most importantly replaced a split intake manifold. I just wanted to be sure of the questionable inlet before reassembly.
