You seem to have good natural balance.. Nice overall control.
You guys did a good thing by wearing a helmet.
I'm not sure how hot it was that day but if you can stand the heat then "PLEASE" wear long protective pants and good sturdy boots and gloves while riding.
Practice starts and stops.
The world is full of crazy drivers so last but not least"watch" out for dummies.......... Have fun and I hope I didn't come across as preachy....
