In the last few years, I quit riding. Twice. Swore the next ride I bought would have fuel injection, tubeless tires and shaft drive. Yeah, right. Darn Craigslist.
For a couple of months, had looked at every TW from 2009 on down and as far away as San Antonio. This TW was the fifth one I attempted to buy on Craigslist. First guy said his was sold but still left it up on the list. Second and third guy never got back to me. The fourth one changed her mind and decided not to sell her pristine 1987 model.
I've wanted a TW200 since they first came out in 1987. It seemed like the perfect scoot for where I live in East Texas. We have some property and the county roads are dirt. Well, sand mostly. The local high school football team is called the Sandies. Here is a link to an album, with captions, on Picasa, My new, old TW.
