The “age virus” has a way of reducing one’s flexibility, which is why I can no longer tolerate more than about 20 miles on the old T-dubby ‘till my hips start bitching…
This little 2001 beauty (best color scheme of all time) has the following,
3300 Miles, always with full synthetic motor oil (Mobil-1 by me and Motul by first owner)
Shenko “Golden Boy” 5.10 front with 100Mi. ridden, original rear which is still supple and deep.
48 tooth sprocket (original 50T retained).
New standard battery 8/5/19.
Fresh carb tune by Yamaha Dealer 8/9/19.
Dark gray “Jimbo Shield”.
Seat Concepts “sticky” seat kit covered by a Bulldog ATV pad.
Torq extended, folding shifter.
Rox 2” aloonium (Thanks Russ) articulated bar risers.
Moose racing bars in gloss black.
Procycle fork springs (.70kg/mm are 40%stiffer than stock) fork oil level verified. Stock springs retained.
EMGO rectangular mirrors give much wider coverage than stock.
Pelican 1200 rear box.
Custom front mud flap (keeps the header pipe looking fresh).
Hitch mounted bike carrier, nylon bike cover and a matte black Bell Mag-9 helmet, size 2xl.
Cosmetically a 9+ (minor scratches on plastics, tank and motor are pristine, from the one and only unplanned dismount on gravel in Globe, AZ).
Mechanically a 9.9, only non-op is the high beam indicator light on the dash.

It must be your big feet. Does it have over sized pegs? Hahaha. It sounds like a great deal. Too bad about the hips. Have you ever checked out SmashweRX on youtube. This guy really knows his stuff and if you do the movements and exercises it could at least minimize some issues.

No, it's your big feet  (just kidding)!

Sorry that your hips are preventing you from enjoying your TW :(. Nice bike and reasonable price.

Your best bet would probably be craigslist. Good luck with the sale!
We were thinking the same thing at almost the same time, scary.

My 14's are also a bit of a problem, hence the extended shifter...
Thanks for the attention to my feeling of irrelevance.... [8{)>

TW's are like firearms I guess: most folks don't own one and those that do often have several...
