2002 Steering Lock

Hi guys,

My dub has the steering lock mounted to the side of the head tube, but the previous owner lost the keys to it. Does anyone know the part number for it or a generic replacement. I'm assuming Yamaha would probably have used the same locks on the XTs etc... but I'd like confirmation before I go out and buy (the wrong) one

You would probably only find that type of lock on very early XT's from the 70's and ealy 80's.

By '84 almost all XT's had the fork lock incorporated in the ignition switch and TW200's have always had them.

I'm not sure how to remove the lock assembly from the 125 but once removed any locksmith can re-key one.
