I just completed my first motorcycle customization! Its a tw200! I love this bike! Super fun! I purchased her with 1000 miles on. Just turned 3000 miles on the odometer when the fmf slip-on finally came in from back order. Now I could pull off the rest of the internal plastics, rejet the carb, add a hi flo air and crankcase filter. I ordered a jet kit from Japan and one from a company in the us (pro-cycle). With help from my pops, we pulled off the carb and tried to use the japanese kit, based on the diagrams. Instructions were in japanese. We tried about 5 different combos and couldn't get her to start or run without bogging down, or revving really high. We tried the kit I bought from procycle. The instructions were in English! We tried the suggested main jet, with the new needle, shim, and pilot jet. Fired right up! Runs like a champ! Fells much smoother when holding the throttle at a constant speed. More power and feels much more efficient. I like the sound of the fmf! It is louder when accelerating, but I don't mind. I live in downtown Austin, and have had some close calls with dumbos not paying attention, and not seeing me. Sounds like a racing exhaust. Sounds nice! Good tones, glad to find a header that is stainless as well, to match!
