Old/new bike, 130 miles so far, bought it new last month. The clutch is now engaging almost at the end of the handle movement - you have to let out the handle almost to the end and occasionally it just slips the clutch at that point. This is a new thing, it was not doing it last time I rode. What is happening, any ideas?

Have you tried the cable adjustment on the lever?

Not tried anything yet - waiting for suggestions so I will go try that and see what happens.

New bike. Cables stretch initially, so run through the adjustment procedure. You may need to do a couple of adjustments within the first few hundred miles.



Lube your clutch and throttle cables and make sure your clutch arm return spring was installed correctly while you're at it.

Spring not installed properly, now is, cables tightened up, they were very loose, now working, thank you.
