Destination: 633 N.Tillamook St Portland, OR 97227

Ride begins at: 10am

Optional pancake feed at: 830am

Communication: Bring your GPS, 2-way radio, and cell phone.





SALEM AREA GROUP:

Small convoy heading up from Salem, Albany, Springtucky, and McMinnville. Some riding and some trailering trail bikes.

Leaving Salem around ~730am.

Meeting in Tualatin, off I-5 (exit 289) at the old Kmart parking lot (7655 SW Nyberg Rd). Should arrive in Tualatin ~815am

Plan to leave there around 830am to arrive at destination ~9am.

ANYONE is welcome to join us.

We'll have 2way radio's on channel 4 or 10.

I would imagine parking will be an issue, and I'm not too keen on riding my Tdub up Interstate-5... what did you guys do last year to convoy up there and where did you park/meet up?

Last year we met at my house in Salem and road Hwy99 all the way up, picking up riders along the way... It was great. If we do that again, I can PM my address to anyone interested. Also, I will PM my cell #. AND We'll probably have 2-way radio's, Channel 4 or 10.



But, this year's meeting location is more N. Portland. So, we are thinking of trailering the bikes up to Wilsonville / Tualatin area and staging at one of the large parking lots off of I-5. If the weather is great, we may still ride, but I-5 on a T-dub sucks. Last year we rode about 15 miles of I-5 on the way home. I was tucked, throttle pegged wide open, and couldn't get over 65mph... plus I had a patched rear tube from piercing it with part of a chain link fence.



I will update this as time progresses and we establish a more solid plan.

Here is a great article that really explains the Alley Sweeper! Has me really excited for this year! I was sad that TW 200's weren't mentioned in the "rare bikes", oh well maybe next year!

Awesome! We should be in a white Grand Cherokee, pulling a trailer with a black DRZ400 and my black/red TW200. Not sure what all the other guys will be driving. I'm sure it will be easy to find each other.

We will be with them in a White Suzuki with a Black and Blue TW200 and a Yellow DRZ400! Followed by a silver Dodge pick up with TW200 in the trailer.
