Honda is an absurdly-conservative company, in terms of engineering and marketing.

There are times when that's good. The Honda Helix scooter was a gift from the gods to college students and third-world city-dwellers...transportation at a pittance, RELIABLE and even fun.

And there are times when that conservatism just gets a big meh. What's to like about an overpriced Honda twin in a formatted "ADV Bike" frame?

If I WERE going to Africa, I'd probably want one - for the reliability. Since I'm not...it would be Suzuki or Triumph or BMW; or at the other end, the CSC RX3 or...dare I say it?...the TW with luggage.
