It looks like that bike has had a rough life! One biggy I think would be even if you got it all fixed up and running for a decent price (could be a big if), without a title its not really a Dual Sport. I enjoy leaving from my house, driving it on the street and heading up in the hills. I have heard getting vehicles street legal without a title is an issue.

If this was closer to Vermont I would grab this no title bike in an instant. No titles issued on 400 CC and under and no title need on vehicles over 15 years old. :D

That is one you have to be careful with. Looks OK but the hidden costs to get it safe and street/trail worthy sure will add up quick. Think like this, it needs New Tires and probably the chain and both sprockets. It needs the rear blinkers and the tank is likely to be rusted inside. Needs an air box and filter, battery and both side covers and probably the boot from the carb to air box. In this stuff alone that $800 dollar bike just went past $1600 and you still don't know what else it might need like carb rebuild, seals and fork work not to mention any electrical issues you might find. I bought both an 87 and 88 that were just like this one and believe me, it adds up quick if you want something safe between your legs. The title is the least of your concerns if you can get it registered in Vt which will cost a little over $100 with the 6% state tax and the $44 registration fees. It would be a very nice project if you do it right and a sharp looking TW when done.
