Leaking fuel from one of the orifices below carb even when petcock is in off position. Should just need to replace seals, yes ?

If so, drain tank first before replacing seals?

Or is it stuck float?

Thanks.

Likely more than one problem.

If fuel is continually flowing out the overflow drain, even with the petcock off:

a: petcock is leaking (see this post by Broken Veteran}:

b: float valve needle is not closing (because of wear, crud build up, or float is bad or maladjusted.

c: o-ring on the float valve seat is old, dried out, or worn, and fuel is leaking around it.

Pull off your fuel line going to the carb. with the petcock off. If gas flows , PETCOCK problem.. Id buy a new one for $19 unless you can find a gasket kit MUCH cheaper.. If thats not the problem , snap your throttle from wide to off a few times ,,, sometimes that'll seat things.. You could "tap" the carb. bowl a bit with a non mettalic tapper... Screwdriver handle works..If you are still leaking , pull the bowl and replace the float bowl seat.. You could try to clean it a bit before you spend the $4...

I'll check with the fuel line first since I've just bought replacement line and have been meaning to do it for a week now. I'll also drop the bowl and clean. Currently have 3/4 tank left that has seafoam in it.

I'll go ahead and order a new float valve seat and needle too. Maybe u can get it here before my next day off.

Thanks guys!

Well, it has been 24 hours and no more leaking from the carb with the new petcock. I replaced the fuel like as well. I have the parts to replace float bowl seat and the FB Gasket... I sprayed carb cleaner a few times and it runs pretty good and my garage doesn't smell like fuel anymore !

Thanks for the input guys. Now, if I could get a day off to go riding with N202
