Used to race scrambling from '67 -69 every weekend in the AMCA and ACU meetings First bike was at DOT250 made in Manchester England, John Done a friend of my father was Cheshire centre champion and a works rider.. I was updated to Expert in 1968 and my dad purchased a Montesa Cappra 250 that I raced until I could get a road licence. A time of my life that I look back on with fond memories.

Great Video !
Look at the "Earls" ? type fork on the bike about 5:58 in,
And it looks like they have even less suspension travel than the TWs.

Started following the subsequent "A Look at Life" videos and laughed when I spotted this...

Boy, thanks Tommy, that sure brought back some memories. Just kick starting one of those BSA Victors was likely just as challenging as the race. Got a kick out of seeing how many of those cars I could name. Even the voice of the commentator was a memory revisited. The subsequent YouTube recommendations kept me out of the shop for almost 2 hours. What an enjoyable trip 'back'.
