Hey guys and gals, I finally made it home with my new TW.



I'll let the pics tell the story.



Also, I just wish everyone that found and bought a TW could deal with someone as nice, kind and considerate as the seller that sold me this one.



What could be behind these alarmed doors........

He's not sure if he wants to go to a new home yet.........

OK, after a little talk with him, he decided he will go..........(as long as there is fun thigs to do where he is going, I assured him there was.......

After about an hours drive on I-75 north, in the light rain, he was just a little damp when I got home.



Tucked in......at his new home, out of the rain for the night.

BTW, how do you like that folding ramp? Is it easy to use? I've been thinking about getting one.

congrats!...i like that ramp as well...mine is much smaller but it fits in the front seat of a small 97 2WD tacoma...being able to walk up it with the bike is a huge plus though

Hey guys thanks !



I appreciate the comments. The ramp was actually the owners ramp. I called him and he said he got his at Cycle world in Knoxville, TN. But I can't locate it for some reason.



That Fly ramp is the exact ramp.



I noticed that Northern tool has them too.



He said it has been used for everything including big bikes and 4 wheelers. The funny thing was, he put the bike in first gear and literally walked it up the ramp at an idle. It went smooth as silk without having to give it gas and had it on in 30 seconds flat.



I got the bike off this morning by using a double ladder. It worked easy and I just walked it down using the front brake. I did however back the truck up to a hump which cut the height down to about a foot making it easy for me to step off tail gate and ease it off.



Question, is this first gear on this bike not amazing !!! I just wonder how you guys that load the bike down keep from jerking around so much and loose your gear or turn it over ? I guess I will get used to it........it almost threw me off the first time I took off until I changed inot 2cond.



I also need to get a seat cushion pretty soon........my old rear can't take a lot of this hard seat.........but I love it !



Did I tell you about my kick stand mistake........

I need to read my manual.........

Congrats are you new toy. enjoy! I have a ramp just like the one you show. I ordered the longest once available because I have a dodge 4x4 pickup which is quite high. I got it from discountramps.com. Its good for light rigs like tw, 3wheeler and sport quad but my heavy hunting quad goes up a much more sturdy and shorter ramp. Had to laugh about kickstand mistake. I did the same thing and took me about 30 seconds before I figured it out. Had never had a motorcycle with that safety feature before. Once I was riding and a stick jambed up against switch and bike died. Looked down and kicked out stick and she fired right back up. Looking forward to your pics of your riding adventures in your area.

As far as the ramp goes.....this is where I like to remind all those using a ramp to use straps to hold it to the- in this case- tailgate. Preferably hooked from the ramp to the area of the trailer hitch where you would put the safety chains.

Yeah I get harassed every time I go to put the straps on the ramps...but I just go ahead and cinch them up without saying anything...no sense turning up on youtube with a bunch of people laughing while you get hurt or wreck something
