My TW is about a month old now (well actually closer to 10 years old; but a month in my possession).

I have been getting to know her. I have taken her apart, cleaned and inspected all the nooks and crannies and waxed everything and put her back together. I have performed all needed maintenance and torqued all the bolts. Added a Shinko 244 5.10 on the front and put on a set of Tusk D-Flex brushguards and a Crystal Clear Jimbo Shield. I have a kick start kit setting on the floor waiting to be installed.

I still have much more to do but we are off to a good start. I have a lot to learn but I love how simple this bike is – just what I wanted.

Now to the problem: My wife wants the bike! She has already named her. And… THE TOPIC OF PURPLE FARKLES HAS COME UP!!

Dear Abby – what do I do?

Meet Louise:

(As you can see by the pic my wife has already added a “trunk”. It is a vintage train case that she found at a second-hand store.)

Your life is over.

On the bright side it means you get to get another one. Farkles X2. Yay.

If you need pointers on finding purple ANYTHING I can prolly make you a list

You guys are lucky! I wish I had that problem! She likes riding quads at the beach, but she's not that into bikes, yet.... I'm hoping my son will like to ride dual sports with me when he's old enough. He likes trail riding with me now, so I'm guessing he'll like being able to ride the roads too. I'll figure out a way to get my wife into it someday!!!
