A real steal on a rainsuit

New Enough has a Tourmaster rainsuit on closeout for $40. Selected colors. I bought one of these, in yellow/black, for $70 two years ago. It's as good as it gets. The best part is the thin, wind-resistant hood that hides in the collar or comes out to cover the back of your neck and keep the rain out. It's a pain to slip into for a quick shower, but I can attest to the fact that it has kept my butt and the rest of me dry for several days of wet riding. It has chest and arm vents, but you will take it off when the sun comes out on a warm day.

It would also make a perfect one-piece windbreak over all the other gear on a chilly day. The hood helps a lot with that too. I wish I had gotten the full-yellow version. Being seen, especially in foul weather, is a very good thing. Sizes up to XXXXL. That blue suit might match some TW colors, huh?

Based on your post and the fact that I have been looking for a rain suit for a year (Arizona does not get much rain) I ordered this suit. I am 5'10" and 180 and ordered an XL and it fits well. I can add a jacket underneath if cold or be in shorts on a cool morning and be comfortable and not feel like I am in a bag. I can't wait for it to rain. I got the full yellow and for forty bucks I feel like I made a great choice. Thanks for your advice.
they owe you a commission. I also ordered a yellow XL version. I'm impressed even tho I have not tested it with a fire hose or downpour. I'm 6', 195 lbs and the XL is plenty big for me, but like others I want it to go over my riding clothes and thus would rather look like the michelin boy than to have to strip to my skivies in a rain storm. Thanks for the tip. Being warm instead of cold and wet one time is worth $50 to me. Tom
I jumped in for a xxxl suit too - a bit of a tour coming up this summer - headed for Sturgis in August
I went to Cycle Gear today for their New Years Day sale. Looking around I found Motoboss rain suits on sale, normally $49.95 marked down to $29.95.

Mixed review from very good to very bad.

CycleGear has a 100% satisfaction guarantee / no hassle return policy and no restocking fee. I have seen people return muddy boots saying they didn't fit well and get all their money back. I took a "chance" and bought one. Reports to follow.

For the price looks like a good deal.

For those of you that have bought it, how is the moisture build up (from sweat, etc) inside the suit after 2 or more hours of riding, generally a problem with non-breathable materials, though the "ad" claims that the suit is made with a breathable micro fiber.

Sounds like the vents and suit work well!

$30 for a black suit sounds good!!!!
