Lzrdbrth, We have a good stretch in several different time warps of RT 66. Count on my couch and stash of beer for when you pass through this area. As we've discussed before, parts of it I've ridden by bicycle, and many parts have not changed much. As a tourist in 1950, bombing into the Rio Grande Valley from the east or west must have been an exciting stretch of the road (all those stucco motels in Albuquerque, all that red chile sauce, and the rush of geographic topography after the flats of Oklahoma, panhandle of Texas and extreme eastern New Mexico. From mid Arizona through mid New Mexico it was a tourist's delight. Come on out and enjoy. I have some historic Rt 66 guides to help plot the way. Tom
