I just bought an airbox boot that connects to the back of the carburetor. I had a hell of a time getting the old boot off (it was extremely tight). Now I'm finding it near impossible to install the new boot. Are there any secrets to this process?

Never mind. I had already lubed it up with petroleum jelly, but that wasn't enough. After my initial post I hit it with the heat gun for a minute or two and then it slid right in.
I always drop my new boots into very hot water for a few minutes and then push them right in real easy. The old one was not as tight as it was stiff and hardened over time. They shrink and become hard as rocks and pretty much useless.
