hey forum,



I would realy like to change my engine bolts for nice and shiny stainless hex bolts.. but i have no idea where to look for the right sizes.. does anyone know if there is a replacement bolt kit.. or know all the sizes and quantaties for the bolts?

Go to Ebay and search "tw200 stainless bolts" $25+ free shipping. I have those on mine and they look great on a black painted engine. Make sure to use thread locker.

I bought this kit and it worked great to replace the phillips head bolts on side cases, Also have lots of spares for those odd lenghts and sizes of TW bolts. I did have to get one 6mmx 75mm bolt that wasn't in kit.

You want to use anti-seize on those case cover bolts, not thread locker.

If you know the sizes you will need (there is a list somewhere on the forum) go to MrMetric.com If you are local they have will call so you save on shipping. Buy a few extra in assorted sizes just in case.



I just noticed you are in Holland -- I don't know if the shipping would make it to expensive. Good luck.

What about that special bolt for the oil filter cover, the one with the Oring?

i can't remember what i did there since it wasn't included with the kit...i know i have the bolt set on my left side case cover...i'll have to check my filter cover tonight...i feel like the newer TWs have allen key bolts on them but i'm not sure...i may have just ordered OEM bolts for that...

Maybe our politicians can make a law that all bolts used in TW200 (all cycles) have both a hex head outer with either a allen or torx in the center. DO SOMETHING USEFUL FOR ONCE!!!!!

I noticed that my 2015 TW has all 8mm hex head bolts so I ordered them from the dealer for my 99. I didn't even save the old bolts.
