Those do look nice and like how light they are but I ride in some pretty gnarly places with my Tdub and they wouldn't last long. If I had a street only rig then I would go for them.

I have the mid winter itch - I am planning to install a set of these great bags even though I will not be riding much before the beginning of June - and all I wanted to do today was go for a ride - just because of planning riding stuff again

Temperature is headed to -28 C tonight

Nice product. Anyone else vote for pinning it?

As of now, I'm going to give an option for latches w/safety tang or a latch that can be padlocked. For me, it didn't make sense as it would require 2 per side. And with the ease of removal, if someone wants in them, they'll just remove the entire box.

Another vote to pin it. Very nice work.

Tinman, will you be offering the hoops and crossbar without the boxes?

Tinman, I'd like to get a set of your framework. Mrs Trip has a set of Seahorse cases for panniers on her bike using the cycleracks bag supports, but they are just not as stout as I would like...I think yours look like a significant upgrade. Do you have a PayPal account set up? Mrs. Trip doing some pannier integrity testing.

will accept PayPal, however still a work in progress. As I do have a 'real job' , and this is just a hobby for me thus far, I hope she's not looking to test for a while. I'll send you a PM so we can workout the details. Thanks, TIM

Do you have some pictures of just the framework & crossbar?

If my wife dropped one of my bikes and then posed for a picture, I'd trade her bike for a mountain bike.

yes, Polarpilots kit is on its way to Canada! And as his package involves shipping routes that include The Rhine River, Mt Kilimanjaro, and apparently Mars, it had a $110 price tag. I'd feel confident as to say, it can't get much more expensive than that to ship. So long as your in North America. Packaged up, the box is 18x18x16 and weighs 30LBS. Would ship from Cleveland, Ohio area. Check your shipping prices if your looking to get a better idea. TIM
