Hey everyone, after changing my front sprocket back to factory 14T,and yes I replaced the rear one as well. Also while I had it apart I changed both seals and new gasket.I am having a small leak, maybe a drop or two on my garage floor after I ride.No big deal, but I would like to know where it is coming from.It is NOT coming from the new seals, they are both dry.I am pretty sure I got most of the old gasket off,my only other thought, would it be coming from where the small rubber grommets go through the case cover? There are no pinched wires.Does anyone put a small bit of silicone around the grommets before they put on the new gasket? Anyone else have this problem?

I would say it's the gasket. There's not an easy way to tell if it's the gasket or the countershaft seal without taking it back off, but check the shift shaft seal first, and if it's not that, clean the case around the leak, mist a little water on, and throw some baby powder in the area. It'll kinda congeal in the trail of the leak or leave a bare spot.

I would just check and verify first that all the bolts are tight on everything. I had an annoying oil leak that turned out to just be a loose bolt.
