The Hyosang is interesting. It doesn't llok like a knockoff, more like a competitor. It looks like a double overhead cam engine, bigger rotor that's drilled, rear rack, updated styling, and several other differences. Is it a 200?
Kinda looks like a slightly bigger gas tank, too.. in a weird way, I think I like it.
I do disapprove of the lacking kickstart.. but I disapprove of that on newer TWs, too, so whatever.
qwerty: any idea what the deal is with the pair of arms heading toward the rear wheel from around the brake pedal? I don't like them being underneath like that, but .. why two?
Edit: it looks like most of their smaller bikes are 250cc ..can't find much on this one, though, but maybe this sheds some light:
The bar under the swingarm is to stop the brake backing plate from rotating. TWs, use a boss on the backing plate that fits into a tab on the swingarm to do the same thing.
I will have to find a guy that can speak English to ask all the good questions. I am still looking for a parts dealer. Dang I need to learn to read and speak Korean
I am on vacation for the next 3 weeks so I have lots of time to track down the questions, and hey if they dont speak English then I can call my wife for help with that. hehe
