I`ve eaten elephant steak in one of the restaurants in the Kruger National Park.....

Came from one of the animals that they culled due to over population.

Like beef, but the texture was not as fine..

I`ve eaten crocodile at Sun City / Lost City.

It was not to my liking.....

I`ll eat most herbivores - I dont like to eat carnivores

I`ve eaten cane rat at a restaurant in Kwazulu Natal. They are HUGE.

It was ok, but I wont eat it again. been there done it....

I`ve eaten kangaroo. A friend got about 25kg of meat from somebody in the meat industry.

It was actually really nice. Tasted like mutton.

We had a party and everybody loved it till they heard what they were eating. LOL

Thats about the extend of my exotic eating habits

According to my mother I had a thing for night crawlers when I was small.

I was lucky to have some Asian friends that often invited me over for dinner.Snake,Squid,Acorns and yes some Cat and Dog! Everything was fine although the cat was somewhat stringy.Proof that with the right prep and spices anything can taste good!
