and then a few days and 800+ miles later I was like this...

but then a couple days later I was like this...

so then I ended up 2 days later like this...

8 days on the road pulling the RV to Oroville, CA to see our grand daughter, then up to Sunset Bay, OR for 4 days. The good news is that by time we got back to Moses Lake almost all the snow was gone!

Sounds like a cool trip! Do you think if you wanted to would the Tdub have easily taken you on that round trip by itself? Long distance touring style?

A TW can go anywhere. What matters is the rider's level of patience and how iron his butt is.

You guys nailed it...the TW could be used for trans-continental travel. Given enough time and money...and warmer weather, I am sure i could have made the entire trip on the bike in not much longer time than it takes to skin a 30 foot trailer that distance. My butt is pretty 'iron' by many's standards, its usually my neck and back that give out first on the 500+ mile days I do on my ZX-10.

Bagger, i will be happy to swill bourbon and discuss any plans with you!

Just FYI on my headlight stone guard in case anyone was wondering, I took it from a walmart set of Rallye lights that were discarded, trimmed it to fit in the rectangle, and hold it in place with zip ties. Cost: FREE, my favorite price.

The symbol on my helmet is just some custom made 'Bio-Hazard" symbols in magenta. It is my family 'Team' logo for track riding that i came up with years ago as a tongue in cheek thing. My wife and son have the same logos on their bikes and gear, we are "Team Toxic", with me as "Botulism Benny", my wife "Typhoid Mari", and our son "Adam Anthrax". (I guess the dog can be "Ginger-vitis"?...not really a bio hazard though, LOL). The markings on the Zombie Stomper are close, since I found a Homeland Zombie Security sticker that has the Bio-Hazard symbol in the background. the tank sticker is a zombiefied smile face that I red X'ed out.
