I have often used the TW200 calculator, which I believe can still be found somewhere within this site. It is an awesome calculator for gearing changes or figuring out how the bike will handle with different gearing. It can also be used to compare bikes to each other, as far as the power they make and how they will pull up hills in different gears and such (you can change the data to make the calculator work for other bikes too). I was just going to go find that calculator again to go back and play around with it set up for the KLR 250 again, when I came across this calculator:

Gearing Commander: Motorcycle Speed, RPM, Chain & Sprockets Calculator

AWESOME! Not really any more useful than the other "TW200 calculator", but it saves time when you want to do calculations for different bikes.

I know some have trouble wrapping their minds around this kind of raw data. If anyone wants to figure something out/ needs help with this tool, feel free to ask me.
