My wife and I have had KLRs for a couple of years now. We have done some good trips on them, but...
Boy they get heavy after a day of riding/dropping.

Today we are trading them on a pair of brand new Tdubs.
We are really looking forward to these bikes. They look like they are a ton of fun.

Good for you! The weight of the TW was a factor for me as well. I hope you enjoy many miles together.

I to am a KLR owner, I kept mine for the longer pavement trips and bought the TW for the really gnarly off-road adventures.

Welcome to the forum! You have made a very interesting choice for riding. Angry Hat Motorsport ( on facebook) is an excellent after market mechanic - He is a nephew of ours.
