I too have the cheap guards on my TW. They'er not as good as others, but they're cheap. If you have a decent vise you can bend them to clear your brake reservoir. You may mar the plastic with the vise jaws, but it will work.
I have Tusk aluminum hand guards. They are my second set (once on another bike). They fit perfect, went on like a dream and they are strong. I would recommend them 100%. I think I paid $33 for them on Amazon.
I just installed a pair of cheap Trackside "Premium Hand Guards" from CycleGear. They were on sale for $50 versus the normal $100. I like how heavy the bars are, and the plastic is very wide, providing great cover.
The best ones I have seen so far are on Bucknutz's new to him TW. Hope he comes on to tell us the brand and if he can post a picture. His has an extra and very heavy bar over the front brake fluid reservoir and they are some very stout guards.

Muffler change...2018 ?
Post #5 in this thread states that the muffler mounting changed in 2018. Does that mean that aftermarket pipes like the DG and FMF will no longer fit?
Swamp bike project is complete. Rear wheel is modified 12 inch trailer wheel with custom fabrication to mount stock hub with ITP mud light ATV tire. Front tire is starcross off-road tire. On road handling is scary, borderline dangerous. Off-road in swamp and mud is phenomenal.
