Has anyone tried one of these battery's? They are on E-bay for a little over fifty bucks. I like the idea of no battery acid sloshing around so I figure for an extra ten bucks or so it might be worth it. Or can anyone suggest an alternative? I mostly ride back roads at a slow pace so an acid battery would be ok if it was more reliable.

Have a look at this: http://tw200forum.com/forum/performance-customization/27418-agm-battery-upgrade-grants-additional-storage.html

The Bikemaster True Gel has too many negative reviews on Moto Superstore for me, I would get an AGM instead.

There are cheaper AGM's, but I probably wouldn't buy one off fleabay. This one looks good. My AGM has lasted five years. You MUST first trickle charge it overnight if you want it to last!

I've used 2 cheapy ebay batts in the last several years. One on a 250 and one on my 650. Both worked just fine. Guess I've been lucky! I'd have to go look at the brand name?
