My Buell needed a new starter so I ordered one off ebay late Friday night. Saturday I got an email saying it had shipped and I could expect it the following Friday -- Atlanta to San Jose. OK, free shipping, probably the cheapest way they could find. No problem. Monday morning the mailman was at my door with it. That is pretty good service. I am happy.

Frankly Tommy, For my age and bike history,
This M2 with 100hp to rear wheel and crazy torque for a 450lb bike,
Can scare me a bit,
But I can't seem to be able to bring my self to part with it,
So much fun,
I mean scary,
No, I mean fun,
Or scary,
Or a bit of both ! ! ! !
Either way,
BAGS,

A 100 horse power ?

(a) no one said you have to use them all at the same time.
(2) it does have a thrust control.

Here it is! Yes it can be scary! I have had to many close calls on it and I know if I keep it I will be sorry.

It is a 1997 S3 Thunderbolt. 53,000 miles of which 30,000 are mine. Never leaked a drop of oil until I switched to synthetic and now it oozes in several spots. Vibrates like crazy and plastic is suffering for it.

I bought from Original owner who was a sponsored Harley AHA drag racer and when he bought the buell for his personal use, he went ahead and and did additional intake, Carb and exhaust work and it does put down some power, 80 Mph in the top of second although its best to grab 3rd at about 60,
Fun bike,
Almost as fast as my 87 TW :)
I will say that the older Buells are some fun,
Love the 1200 CC of torque,
You can drive all day under 2000 Rpm,

Have you ever taken one of the engines apart? They are different! Though very easy to work on. The transmission comes out as a single unit. Piece of cake to swap.
