i've always liked the motoped, but the price point is too much for me for something that isn't even street legal. at least you can buy them now with engines already installed.

I have always thought that having a couple of motorcycles (got 3 now) in the garage would be useful when the collapse happens. At least you could ride roads where others fear to tread or some nice mountain single track to get up where the zombies won't go. My other plan is to move to Ecuador, where they have a year round growing season and folks are already used to living off the land. Ya know that "meek shall inherit the earth" thing? I think it refers to third world, indigenous peoples. Rock on T Dubbers! :icon_thumright:

AND....you have a choice of the 49 cc engine, or....the 125 cc engine.
I have to believe that a 125 cc in that mountain bike frame would absolutely scream!! I don't have that kind of money laying around but would love to test ride one.

I could see altering a TW200 with some of the same add-ons, and making it....the bug-out bike.
Mike. Im with you on this one and the only concern I would have is an EMP weapon hitting the U.S. Maybe a person should gather up spare parts for our TW's that would be effected and bury them in a lead container.

Munchmeister, two things......# 1...I love Ecuador. Been looking at Condos there, with the idea of having a bike in storage there, and fly-down...ride around.

# 2.....given where I live now, I have no need for a Bug-Out bike, as my place would be THEE location to ride to, if the Tom's from Dryden hit the fan. :D
What a great compliment! My wife tells me I'm the sheet all the time but coming from you that is high honors. Thank you!

Approaching fuel would be a very vulnerable move. And a easily reconed pinch point.

I like the way you think. Admiral has the very best form of transportation and he practices using them often.

Good source of heat on a cold night.
Good cover for evading thermal imaging.
Virtually indestructible.
etc......

About this item
Product Description
America faces a full-scale socioeconomic collapse in the near future. The stock market plummets, hyperinflation cripples commerce and the mounting crisis passes the tipping point. Practically overnight, the fragile chains of supply and high-technology infrastructure fall, and wholesale rioting and looting grip every major city. As hordes of refugees and looters pour out of the cities, a small group of friends living in the Midwest desperately try to make their way to a safe-haven ranch in northern Idaho. The journey requires all their skill and training since communication, commerce, transportation and law enforcement have all disappeared. Once at the ranch, the group fends off vicious attacks from outsiders and then looks to join other groups that are trying to restore true Constitutional law to the country. Patriots is a thrilling narrative depicting fictional characters using authentic survivalist techniques to endure the collapse of American civilization. Listening to this compelling, fast-paced novel could one day mean the difference between life and death.
