I was out in the garage this afternoon, spending time with my tw chain,( perfect day) when I heard a rumbling out in the driveway. I looked out and there was a dude getting off a harley. by the time I got outside he was nosing around a new building we are having build to hold motorcycles and tractors and other cool toys. he was hired by our contractor to do the foundation water proofing, anyway, after talking to him for a while, he was telling me that a friend of his was killed last month by an older lady pulling out in front of his Harley. so I told him of all the fools that have pulled out in front of me and I showed him a led strobe light set up I had put on my tw. after showing it to him, he figured his friend might still be alive if he had, had that on his bike. that made me feel good and sad at the same time. so is life. anyway he continued to tell me he had 2, bw200 at home and was thinking of selling them, until his son ( dam kids) said no way! so I told him to give me a call if he out votes the kid. then I could join the new rage. that's my story for the day

I think I did once, but it's hard to show moving lights in a still pic 52.JPG I put 4-10 watt leds, controlled by 2 different strobe controllers operated by a single push button on the bars. I'm impressed by how they wake people up. I have had a few hit the brakes when I touched the button. I haven't been cut off or had any one pull out in front of me. I also bought one of those slime green jackets, so I feel a lot safer this year

Grewen, where did you get the lights?
I bought them in single pieces off of ebay. the whole set up cost about $20. the lights seem to grab your eye ok but I think next winter i'll redo with multi led road lights. the guy with the Harley was impressed enough that he is going to make up some. if you make up your own, make sure you get strobe controllers that are water proof

Get a headlight modulator. There are state laws about how fast the headlights can flash between high and low, IIRC it is 4 X/sec. In many states, those strobes may not be legal for street use, they flash on and off and I do not know the rate. Check your state laws before you try and do that.
