Hello All!



Just wanted to introduce myself to you. I am a new rider as well as a new TW200 owner. I received my 2007 TW for Christmas this year along with boots, helmet, jacket and registration in a motorcycle safety course. Up to this point I had never driven a m/c before. It has been an adventure I will say that. My hubby has a 2008 Honda XL650R. But I love my little TW. I am on the east coast of Canada.

Yes, Hi Liesel. It's nice to here from that end of the country. Please post often. My wife is just learning to ride her TW too. She already had her incident. You can read about it on the forum about two weeks ago. It's OH my God My wife went down, or something close. She's fine now and have resumed lessons.

I did read that Owen. I'm glad she has kept up the lessons. I have had mine on it's side 3 times now, but no injuries. The one thing I have noticed is as I get nervous I grip the handlebars tighter which in turn adds throttle. Just mention this to her if she has any sudden acceleration issues. I did!

Another east coaster on here, these bikes are rare here, so we have to pay big dollars compared to what they sell for used in America

I will Agree that they are not that common. Most people haven't heard of them. The boys at my work think it's "cute".

I live in Calgary 10 months of the year and Shediac Cape NB for the summer. I pull my TW on a trailer all across most of Canada and back at the end of the summer because I cannot be without it in prime riding time. I've had bikes most of my long life and this one is by far the most fun!
