That is the Battery Bug. Monitors electrical system voltage, battery condition, and cranking power of battery.

Yes-I can see them over the top of these instruments. Its just not obvious from the way I took the picture. My gloves are covering the instruments and keys.

Not sure who got the idea from whom? But there really aren't too many options on the handlebars and not much you can do with your right hand when riding so…………
