This weekend the wa atv riders are having a gravel pack in. We are going to meet up at the wadell parking area. If anyone has a quad that would like to join and help out is welcome. I am told they have trailers to pull for the rock. The DNR has them for us. The volunteer help keeps the areas we ride open. Even if you take your bike, we will need rakers and shovelers. Show time is 8 30.

If you haven't tried, look up waatva.org. It shows all the riding areas in the state and has maps or where to get them. Personally I am looking forward to doing a ride in each of them as I can. The ride with folks in Tahuya last weekend was a great time. Look forward to riding with as many forum members as possible. Need to get me a new black book and start filling it lol.

We had a great day hauling rock for a trail that went down a steep hill with switchbacks to the bottom. Rain, oh my did it come down at times. I have to say I enjoyed my canopy with windshield I made for my rincon. Kept me dry while the rest were in rain gear.
There are some rides coming up in May in the capital forest. I expect a lot of folks to show. Bikes or quads, doesn't matter. The trails there are awesome and made for the TW. My 4ft wide quad just fits barely through some of the fences. It is a very large area and lots of riding for anyone interested.
