I've had major problems downloading my photos from photobucket in the past.
Today, I found the photo I wanted and right clicked and copied it. Sure enough it pasted directly into the forum and onto my hard drive. I'm not sure why I got three in the same paste, but I'm suspecting it was my finger inertia, not the copy and paste process itself. So if there's something that's still lost on PB, get it painlessly.

Did you pay Photobucket's ransom fee?

Just tried it in the test section and it worked.:) Right click on pic, select copy image and then paste in the forum.

here it is here as well.

Golden - for the record - I see nothing on your recent test thread - but I can see the picture you posted on this one

From what I can tell, VSAdmin are still working on this issue, but have advised that although some pics may show to begin with, they may yet disappear until we get this fixed

Best advice is use the "Advanced" function in the meantime ........

I think the point of the OP's post was that he did not have to download the pic from photobucket to his computer then upload it to the forum. So I also checked this method and it seems to work???? Nothing more than a shortcut from PB.
Unfortunately I have 1000's of photos on PB and it would take hours and hours to down load them to an external drive.

Agreed - peruano may have found an excellent workaround

For the record (and perhaps back on topic) - in the early days of this photnotit fiasco, you used to be able to click on a folder, and then download it in its entirety as a zip file - but they've even disallowed that function now .....
