Hi I'm new to this forum, and this is my first post. I have a 1989 TW200 which just hit 3000 miles. I have owned it since 2200 miles and it runs fine, however there is a small leak at mixture screw (plug lost or removed by previous owner). Leaks just enough to be annoying and create a bit of varnish on outside of carb. I would like to know possible causes before I get into removing the carb and taking it apart.

I find it crazy that the year of bike is same as my HS graduation year, so in 2O+ years I've managed to go to college, get married, build 2 houses and have three kids. And someone else managed to just put 2200 on this bike!

Thanks for the welcome and the tips. It is good for me to be confronted with something simple. I'm hoping this motor is easier to work on (and more reliable) than my 88 OMC outboard!
