Hey guys. Have not been here in a while and unfortunately had not had any time to ride lately either. The last time I did ride I forgot to turn of the fuel petcock and let the bike stall out of fuel leaving the carb empty.....Bike sat for a long time and now my carb is all gummed up etc. I do not know enough about this to tackle the job myself so I am having a friend work on the bike but he has not been able to get the jets cleaned out with the methods he has been using. Wanted to reach out to you guys to see where I might buy a carb rebuild kit and what I should expect to pay. My TW is a 2007 model.

Thanks in advance for any replies

OK in doing some research it looks like the only "rebuild kit" is junk. So let me re-phrase this question. I went to the Yamaha OEM parts site can anyone give me a list of the parts that I should order and replace in order to rebuild the carb properly. Oh forgot to mention that yes this is a 2007 fully stock TW 200.

Thanks

You might not need any parts. Generally, people not experienced with such low power engines tend to use bigger wires than necessary--won't go through the hole--so jet is not cleared. The holes are tiny. Any gum that might be in a jet will succumb to a piece of fine wire, say, not much bigger than a strand of telephone jack wire.
