Guilty. We have a pair of helmet comms. Once you come to terms with the "un-Zenlike Abomination" aspect of them they're pretty handy, with a few caveats.
On group rides two guys can keep a handle on twenty if the guy riding point and the guy riding drag have them. The folks in the middle can focus on the scenery and two guys who are familliar with the area can quietly keep all the ducks in a row, slowing the group to deal with stragglers, injuries or breakdowns. They're hard to beat in a "man down" or "man missing" situation.
On pavement, given a reasonably quiet bike they work great. When I'm on my Concours with a full face helmet I have a hard time convincing people on the other end that I'm actually RIDING my motorcycle while talking to them because they can't tell. The TW is an entirely different story, as its harmonics and mechanical noises seem to be such that it plays heck with the noise cancelling circuitry when at speed. Even with a full face lid, messages tend to require repetition at highway speeds.
