Yes I used Castrol 20/50 once and did not like it. Even in warm So. Cal. it made my TW harder to start and shifting was not as smooth as with 10/40. I use Castrol 10/40 and occasionally Valveline 10/40, and they both work fine for me. I change my oil about every 1500 miles and 75% of the time I used Castrol. My TW has 15k miles on it and runs like a dream.
